Polri implements community outreach and humanitarian aid programs

Indonesian police forces (Polri) are implementing various community-oriented programs across the country to strengthen ties with the public and improve security. These initiatives include 'Subuh Keliling' (dawn patrols) and 'Jumat Keliling' (Friday patrols), where officers participate in congregational prayers at mosques to engage in direct dialogue with citizens, listen to grievances, and absorb community aspirations.

In West Java, the Biddokkes Polda Jabar provided free medical services to 153 people at the Al-Jabbar Grand Mosque. Meanwhile, in West Sulawesi, the Polda Sulbar utilized dawn patrols to foster humanistic approaches and resolve social issues through discussion rather than immediate legal action. Other regional activities include the Mauk Police Station conducting facility cleanups to improve service quality and the Sorong Timur Police engaging with mosque congregations to maintain public order.

Additionally, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has provided humanitarian aid, including masks, vitamins, and food, to communities affected by forest and land fires (karhutla) to mitigate health risks from smoke.
