PNM expands Mekaar InspirAksi program for women's empowerment

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) is expanding its Mekaar InspirAksi program, a collaborative initiative between customers and Account Officers (AO) designed to empower underprivileged women through small business support.

The program focuses on intensive mentoring, business innovation, and capacity building with an emphasis on Environment, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) principles. Rather than providing capital alone, the initiative aims to help customers scale their businesses sustainably by building confidence and practical skills.

PNM President Director Kindaris stated that true empowerment occurs when individuals gain the ability to learn, innovate, and grow independently. Through collaboration with Danantara, PNM intends to broaden these opportunities to help more families move beyond mere survival toward sustainable economic growth.
