TJAL elects new leadership for 2027-2028 biennium

The Plenary of the Court of Justice of Alagoas (TJAL) has elected its new leadership for the 2027-2028 biennium. Desembargador João Luiz Azevedo Lessa was chosen as President of the Court, with Desembargador Ivan Vasconcelos Brito Júnior elected as Vice-President.

Additionally, Desembargador Fábio Costa de Almeida Ferrario will assume the role of Corregedor-Geral of Justice, while Desembargador Fábio José Bittencourt Araújo will lead the Ombudsman's Office. Upon his election, Lessa stated his intention to lead with humility and dialogue, aiming to maintain continuity with the actions implemented by the current administration.
