Połaniec Hosts Summer Open-Air Cinema and Youth Film Contest

The municipality of Połaniec opened its summer open‑air cinema with a press briefing led by city spokesperson Anna Adamczak. The event featured a youth‑run short‑film competition, "Odkryj Połaniec w 60 sekund," which received five entries from local students. A jury selected Aleksandra Mazur (1st), Wiktor Gałka (2nd) and Kacper Jazgara (3rd) as winners, with each participant receiving prizes sponsored by ENEA Połaniec Power Plant.

Following the contest, the audience watched the family comedy "Instant Family" under the stars, accompanied by free popcorn and lemonade. The program was organized by a coalition of local schools, cultural centers and ENEA, and was funded under the Świętokrzyskie youth activation program supported by the National Institute for Freedom.

The festival marked the start of the 2026 summer cultural season in the region.
