Połaniec Social Services Center provides free transport

The Social Services Center (CUS) in Połaniec is providing free transportation services for residents, a project that has seen significant interest. The service is available to individuals with disability certificates and residents over the age of 60, regardless of income level.

According to CUS Director Ewa Tomalska, the transport is intended for specific purposes, such as medical appointments, rehabilitation, or visits to government offices. The service utilizes a specially adapted bus to ensure the safe transport of individuals with mobility difficulties. Trips can cover distances of up to 100 kilometers.

Services operate on weekdays from 7:15 to 17:40. While routes are typically planned in advance via paper or electronic forms, same-day requests may be accommodated if the vehicle is available. Drivers may wait at the destination for a maximum of two hours. Common destinations include the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center in Kielce. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021–2027 program.
