Pob Binzago to Manage Seveso’s PalaPrealpi as Youth Sports Hub

The multi‑sport association Pob Binzago, based in Cesano Maderno, has secured a ten‑year contract to operate the PalaPrealpi arena in Seveso. Under the agreement with the municipal administration, the society will cover all ordinary operating costs—including electricity, water, gas, cleaning and maintenance—and pay an annual fee of €1,500.

Pob Binzago intends to transform the venue into a social and sporting centre for local youth. The programme includes continuing basketball activities, adding volleyball with FIPAV approval, and offering pilates, gentle gymnastics, and seasonal camps. A dedicated “Spazio Giovani” will provide a safe space for adolescents to study, socialize and engage in leisure activities. The municipality will retain at least seven days per year for its own sponsored events. The previous manager, Pallacanestro Cantù, will move back to its home arena. President Roberto Tognacca highlighted the aim of creating a healthy, inclusive environment that supports personal growth for children and families.
