Pobeda Airlines expands routes to Dubai Al Maktoum
Pobeda Airlines, a low-cost subsidiary of the Aeroflot Group, has announced the expansion of its flight operations to the United Arab Emirates for the 2026/27 winter schedule. The airline will launch three new direct routes from Russian regional cities to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
The new service schedule begins on October 25, 2026, with flights from Ufa, followed by Yekaterinburg on October 26, and Kazan on October 27. Each route will operate twice weekly using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, adding a total of six weekly frequencies in each direction.
This expansion reflects a shift in the Russian aviation sector, as airlines increasingly redirect capacity toward North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East due to airspace restrictions and sanctions affecting European travel. The United Arab Emirates serves as both a major tourist destination and a key transit hub for international passenger flows.
