Pocheon launches Seyeong Richel Lifelong Learning Village

Pocheon City has officially launched the 2026 Seyeong Richel Lifelong Learning Village at the Seyeong Richel Small Library. The initiative is designed to foster a learning community within the apartment complex, which is home to 454 households and approximately 1,125 residents.

The program offers nine diverse educational tracks catering to all ages, from children and teenagers to adults and seniors. Specific activities include AI-assisted business card making, exercise equipment usage, eco-friendly soap making, glass crafts, acrylic painting, gardening, and junior golf classes.

To celebrate the launch, a summer festival was held at the complex's fountain park. The event featured water play, magic shows, CPR and fire safety training, and watermelon making. Mayor Baek Young-hyeon noted that the lifelong learning village serves as a space for residents to share experiences and wisdom, thereby increasing community vitality.
