Płock County officials announce major defense project with Ministry of National Defence

Sylwester Ziemkiewicz, the starosta of Płock County, has announced a major upcoming security project being developed in cooperation with the Polish Ministry of National Defence. The announcement follows the appearance of new installations near the border of Płock.

Ziemkiewicz noted that previous efforts to strengthen regional security include the placement of Territorial Defense Forces in Trzepowo and missile defense forces in Gostynin. He stated that the upcoming project, which will be officially presented alongside Piotr Zgorzelski and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, is expected to be a “breakthrough step” for the region's safety.
