Płock landmark Clock Tower undergoes major renovation
Renovation work has begun on the Clock Tower, a prominent landmark in Płock that is part of the former Mazovian Dukes' Castle. The project aims to clean historic bricks, remove damaged elements, and repair joints using specialized conservation materials to preserve the structure for future generations.
The modernization is part of a broader initiative to increase the tourist appeal of the former Benedictine abbey complex and the Mazovian Dukes' Castle. The project is funded by the European Union, with the total cost reaching nearly 11.5 million PLN, of which 9.1 million PLN is provided by EU funds.
