PocketBook Q to debut at IFA 2026 alongside various compact e-readers

The market for compact, palm-sized e-readers continues to expand with new hardware designed for portability and digital disconnection. Notable devices in this category include the XTEINK X3, which offers a 3.7-inch display, and the Kobo Clara Colour, a 6-inch model featuring E Ink Kaleido 3 technology.

PocketBook has announced the debut of the PocketBook Q at IFA 2026 in Berlin. Designed with a smartphone-like form factor, the device weighs 130 grams and features a 5.84-inch E Ink Carta 1300 touchscreen. The PocketBook Q is intended to provide a distraction-free reading experience using a Linux-based operating system, supporting audiobooks via Bluetooth and Text-to-Speech functionality. It also includes SMARTlight adaptive technology for adjusting brightness and color temperature, along with IPX4 water resistance.
