Pocketpair announces Craftopia version 1.0 release for 2027

Pocketpair has announced that its open-world survival game, Craftopia, will officially exit early access and release version 1.0 in 2027. This follows more than six years of development since the game’s initial Steam debut in September 2020.

The studio stated that the primary focus for the 1.0 release will be on refinement, stability, and polishing the existing gameplay experience rather than solely adding massive amounts of new content. While some new content is planned, the developers aim to address long-standing technical issues and improve overall quality.

Regarding platform availability, the full version will launch on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S. However, Pocketpair confirmed it is discontinuing development for the Xbox One, citing an inability to achieve acceptable performance and stability levels on the older hardware.
