Pocketpair begins planning Palworld version 1.1 update

Pocketpair has begun brainstorming for Palworld version 1.1, the first major update following the release of version 1.0. Lead publisher John “Bucky” Buckley invited the community to provide suggestions for upcoming content, resulting in over 1,700 responses.

Buckley clarified that while the studio is open to player feedback, the upcoming update will not include massive expansions such as new continents or a 20-level increase to the maximum level cap. The developer noted that such large-scale projects are not within the planned scope for version 1.1 and expressed a desire to avoid spending an entire year on a single update.

The studio's approach aims to provide long-term support without following a model of continuous, massive content expansions that would excessively increase the game's size.
