Pocketpair manages expectations for Palworld version 1.1 update
Pocketpair, the developer of the survival game Palworld, has announced that it is beginning brainstorming sessions for version 1.1 following the game's successful 1.0 full release.
John “Bucky” Buckley, the head of publishing and communications, invited the community to share suggestions for the upcoming update. The response was overwhelming, with over 2,000 replies. However, Buckley clarified that the studio does not intend to spend a year developing a single massive update. He noted that while the team is open to ideas, massive undertakings such as adding entirely new continents or increasing the level cap by 20 levels are not currently planned for version 1.1.
Buckley expressed that the goal is to avoid excessive content bloat. The studio aims to provide meaningful updates without the long-term development cycles seen in other titles, noting that support for the game will eventually conclude as the team moves toward future projects.
