Pocketpair expands Palworld franchise with multiple new titles
Pocketpair, the developer of the survival game Palworld, is expanding its franchise with several new projects. The studio is currently working on a mobile version titled Palworld Online, a farming simulation called Palworld: Palfarm, and a dating simulation titled Palworld: More Than Just Pals.
John ‘Bucky’ Buckley, Communication Chief at Pocketpair, clarified on Discord that the studio does not view the dating simulation as a traditional spin-off. He explained that while spin-offs should be closely linked to the original game's themes and content while offering a significant new feature, the dating game is fundamentally different. Buckley referred to the dating project as a ‘little silly thing.’
In contrast, the studio identifies Palworld: Palfarm as a true spin-off. This upcoming title will focus on farming mechanics using the Pals from the original game and is expected to include a multiplayer mode. No official release dates have been announced for the new titles.
