POCO F9 series Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone launch mobile gaming POCO F9 Ultra

POCO has announced the upcoming global launch of its F9 series, scheduled for September 1, 2026. The lineup is expected to consist of two high-performance models: the POCO F9 Pro and the POCO F9 Ultra.

Both devices are slated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The POCO F9 Ultra is anticipated to include a massive 8,050 mAh battery and a 6.85-inch display, while the POCO F9 Pro is expected to sport a 6,59-inch QHD+ Plastic OLED screen with a 185Hz refresh rate and a 6,330 mAh battery. Both models are expected to support 100W fast charging.

The series emphasizes gaming performance through features such as WildBoost optimization, advanced touch controls, and VisionBoost D8 technology to enhance clarity and fluidity. Audio capabilities for the series will include Sound by Bose.
