POCO F9 series leaks reveal high-end specs and M8x 5G details

Leaks have revealed detailed specifications for the upcoming POCO F9 series, including the POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra. These devices are expected to be international versions of Xiaomi’s Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max. Both models are slated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays reaching up to 185Hz, and 200MP primary cameras.

A notable difference in the global versions is the reduced battery capacity compared to the Chinese models. The F9 Pro is expected to have a 6,330mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra is tipped to feature an 8,050mAh unit. Both will support 100W fast charging. The F9 Ultra may also include an LED notification ring around the camera module and Bose-tuned audio.

Separately, POCO is preparing to launch the M8x 5G in India. Teasers on the Flipkart microsite show a design featuring a textured rear panel and gold accents. The device is positioned as an affordable 5G option, following the recent release of the M8 Power.
