Poco Lee to face London court on September 15 over alleged sexual offences

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, professionally known as Poco Lee, is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026. The court has confirmed the hearing is for plea and trial preparation regarding allegations of sexual offences, including attempted rape, rape, and assault by penetration.

Poco Lee is currently being held on remand in a United Kingdom prison. The legal proceedings were confirmed by James Baker, the court’s administrative team lead, who noted that while the hearing is official, specific courtroom details and exact times are typically released the day before the event.

Benjamin Kuti, founder of the Community of Nigerians in the UK, confirmed the entertainer's detention and stated his intention to attend the proceedings to support the Nigerian community. While various reports have circulated regarding the nature of the charges, the court emphasized that the allegations remain unproven and the defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty.
