POCO prepares launch of F9 Pro, F9 Ultra and X8 smartphones

Certification filings have confirmed that POCO, Xiaomi's sub‑brand, is set to release several new smartphones. The POCO F9 Pro and its larger sibling F9 Ultra have been spotted in multiple regulatory databases under the codes 2607APCA5Ge and 26077PC53G, with a GSMA certification listing the model names. Analysts expect the devices to debut in late summer, possibly July‑September, and to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors, AMOLED displays with a 185 Hz refresh rate, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.

Separately, a device identified as model 2607DPC18G has passed Thailand’s NBTC and Singapore’s IMDA certifications, confirming it will be marketed as the POCO X8. The X8 will support 5G, NFC, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, joining the existing X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max lineup. Detailed hardware specifications have not been disclosed, but the certifications suggest the launch is imminent.

Both product lines are expected to arrive before the end of the year, expanding POCO’s flagship offerings across multiple markets.
