Poczta Polska announces IT and cybersecurity investment priorities

Poczta Polska has announced its IT procurement priorities for the next 12 months, focusing on a comprehensive modernization of its technological infrastructure. During the IT Suppliers Day event, which drew approximately 120 technology companies, the company outlined key investment areas including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and business services.

Cybersecurity is a primary focus due to the company’s role in national critical infrastructure. Specific priorities include the development of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) mechanisms, identity management with an emphasis on data sovereignty and AI identities, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.

Additional planned investments involve database management, telecommunications infrastructure modernization, ERP systems, and process integration. The company stated that prospective contractors must demonstrate experience in critical environments, ensure compliance with regulations such as NIS2 and the National Cybersecurity System Act, and maintain cost transparency.
