PODAJ DALEJ Foundation nominated in Wielkopolska plebiscite

The PODAJ DALEJ Foundation has been nominated in the fifth edition of the ‘Łączy nas WIELkopolskiE’ plebiscite. The foundation is competing in the ‘Łączy nas… społeczna misja’ (social mission) category for its project involving assisted and training housing in Wąsosz.

The nominated project, Osada Janaszkowo, is designed as a space for people with disabilities to live, learn independence, and make their own decisions, rather than functioning as a traditional institution. The facility includes assisted living apartments, training housing, a rehabilitation center, a common room, a sensory integration room, and a ‘Park of Independence’ to help wheelchair users practice overcoming architectural barriers.

Founded in 2004 by the family of the late Dr. Piotr Janaszek, the foundation continues a legacy that began in the late 1970s when Janaszek organized camps for children with disabilities. The foundation currently provides free support to over 280 people with disabilities annually. Voting for the plebiscite is open until September 25, 2026.
