Podemos candidates compete for Zaragoza Mayoralty

Ricard Mitjana and María Goikoetxea are competing in the Podemos primaries to determine the party's candidate for the Mayoralty of Zaragoza in the May 2027 municipal elections.

Mitjana, the current coordinator of Podemos Aragón, represents the continuity of the current regional leadership. Goikoetxea, who previously led the party's candidacy for the Presidency of the Government of Aragon in February, will face him in this internal contest. The decision on who will lead the municipal list will be made by the party's members.
