Poder360 expands audiovisual journalism with new minidoc series

Brazilian digital news outlet Poder360 has launched a strategic push into audiovisual content, producing original minidocumentaries and miniseries to attract younger audiences. Since late 2025 the newsroom added dedicated video teams, upgraded to Blackmagic cinema cameras and adopted a documentary‑style workflow. The first two releases – the miniseries “Poder nos Trilhos” and the minidocumentary “Memorial Brumadinho, uma visita” – have together earned more than 65,000 views on social platforms and generated over 2,800 accesses to the accompanying articles. Additional branded projects, such as the “Rota do Gás” miniseries for corporate partners, have also surpassed 35,000 Instagram views. The initiative is led by innovation director Miguel Gallucci Rodrigues, new media manager Bárbara Pinheiro and multimedia producer Pedro Linguitte, aiming to broaden the outlet’s YouTube subscriber base, now at 1.7 million, and reinforce its digital leadership among Generation Z.
