Balkan region hosts diverse cultural, film, and automotive events
The Balkan region is hosting a variety of cultural, culinary, and automotive events this season. In Montenegro, Bar will host the 21st International Oldtimer Meeting, featuring over 100 classic cars from across the region, including Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, and North Macedonia. Additionally, the Vjetrenica cave, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continues to be a significant destination for biodiversity tourism.
Serbia is seeing major film activity, with the 11th Dok'n'Ritam music documentary festival in Belgrade and the dual 72/73 edition of the Martovski Festival in Belgrade, both showcasing domestic and international documentary and short films.
In Croatia, various regional celebrations are underway, including the Street Food Night in Crikvenica, the Sisak Beer Festival, and the Vinkovci Autumns festival. Hvar is also preparing for the Days in Vali maritime festival, featuring 50 traditional boats, while the Hvarmony event in Hvar will focus on wellbeing and the slow movement. Other notable events include the 20th Herceg Novi Strip Festival in Montenegro and the presentation of a traditional cookbook in Dubrovnik.
