Podgorica approves construction of new Stadium Pod Goricom stand

The Government of Montenegro has approved a cooperation agreement for the construction of the eastern stand at the Stadium Pod Goricom in Podgorica. The project includes a new stand with a capacity of over 6,000 seats and a two-level underground garage providing more than 450 parking spaces.

Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović stated that construction is expected to begin late this year or early next year, following a month-long tender process. The project, which has been discussed since 2007, aims to meet FIFA and UEFA standards. The new stand will feature 5,694 spectator seats, dedicated spaces for persons with disabilities, media facilities, and a VIP lounge.
