Podgorica Court awaits addresses for Đukanović hearing in Telekom case

The Higher Court in Podgorica is awaiting addresses for several individuals proposed for questioning in the “Telekom” case. The Protector of Property-Legal Interests (ZIPI) has requested this information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), but the Ministry has reportedly not yet responded.

The individuals proposed for hearing may include former President Milo Đukanović and his sister, Ana Đukanović. These individuals were part of a 2019 criminal complaint filed by the Network for the Affirmation of the NGO Sector (MANS), which alleged abuse of office, bribery, and the formation of a criminal organization during the privatization of the state telecommunications company, Telekom.

The court requested specific addresses from ZIPI in August 2026 to facilitate the investigative process, but the procedural delay continues as institutions wait for the necessary data from the Ministry.
