Podgorica hosts international oral cancer research meeting
Podgorica is hosting a three-day international professional meeting focused on the e-COST action CA21140 INTERCEPTOR. The gathering brings together researchers and medical experts from around the world to exchange knowledge regarding the prevention, early detection, and treatment of oral cavity cancer.
While INTERCEPTOR is a European e-COST action designed to connect researchers through a scientific network, the event in Montenegro features global participation. Doctors from the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) are serving as organizers, including specialists in otorhinolaryngology (ORL) and maxillofacial surgery (MFH).
Aleksandar Radović, the director of KCCG, stated that hosting this international meeting is a significant recognition for the Montenegrin medical and academic community. He emphasized that the involvement of local specialists aims to improve patient outcomes through the application of newly acquired knowledge and international partnerships in clinical practice.
