Podgorica hosts ‘Sastavci’ international chamber music festival

The international chamber music festival ‘Sastavci’ is set to debut in Podgorica, opening on Wednesday, September 23, at the KIC ‘Budo Tomović’. The festival begins with a concert titled ‘Quintessentially English’, featuring works by Edward Elgar, Vaughan Williams, Rebecca Clarke, and Frank Bridge.

The performing quintet includes pianist Diana Ketler, violinist Diana Tiščenko, violist Razvan Popović, cellist Justus Grim, and double bassist Zoran Marković. The event aims to foster artistic dialogue and international cooperation by connecting renowned European performers with local musicians and audiences.

In addition to concerts at the Music Centre of Montenegro, the four-day festival will include professional workshops for students at the ‘Vasa Pavić’ Music and Ballet School. The festival is directed by Zoran Marković and organized by KIC ‘Budo Tomović’ in collaboration with the Secretariat for Culture of Podgorica, the Music Centre of Montenegro, and the ‘Vasa Pavić’ school.
