Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović’s Performance Report Sparks Political Debate

Montenegro’s parliament vice‑president Boris Pejović praised Podgorica mayor Saša Mujović for delivering “excellent results” and said the latest work report confirms his performance. He warned that political actors who oppose the report will offer new justifications, and noted that the debate over a forced administration – previously used by earlier governments – is now being used to rationalise coalition disputes.

Assembly member Branislav Radičević argued that the mayor’s current work report is as transparent as prior reports, publicly available on the city and parliament websites. He dismissed claims of non‑transparent management, called for a review of the Botun wastewater‑treatment project, and urged safeguards against any future forced administration measures.
