3x3 basketball tournament Podgorica charity event Varvari supporters group solidarity

A 3x3 basketball tournament will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Njegošev park in Podgorica to support Aleksandar Čaka Ivanović. Ivanović is a long-time leader of the ‘Varvari’ supporters group who is currently battling a serious illness.

The event will take place on the historic courts of the Budućnost basketball club and will follow official 3x3 basketball rules. Each team entry fee is 40 euros, and donation boxes will be available throughout the tournament for those wishing to contribute to Ivanović’s cause.

Organizers, including journalist Matija Milačić, have called for media attention to spread a message of solidarity. The program includes music by DJs Lazar Šarčević and Vuk Đurišić, as well as stands featuring refreshments and merchandise from the Varvari boutique.
