Podgorica to host first EAES laparoscopic surgery course

The Clinical Center of Montenegro will host the EAES Course on Basic Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery in Podgorica from September 3 to 5, 2026. This marks the first time the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) is organizing such a course in Montenegro.

Participants will receive theoretical and practical training under the supervision of international experts at the Crowne Plaza hotel. The program aims to enhance essential skills for minimally invasive abdominal, urological, and gynecological procedures, which are characterized by smaller incisions, less tissue trauma, and faster patient recovery.

The event is organized by the EAES in collaboration with the Association of Surgeons of Montenegro, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montenegro, the First Surgical Department of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, and the Academy of doctrinae medicinalis from Slovakia.
