Podkarpacki Festival of Alternative Culture to be held in Sanok

The Podkarpacki Festival of Alternative Culture is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2026, at the Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok. Organized by the PRO ARTIS Association in cooperation with local authorities and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, the event aims to integrate the community through diverse cultural expressions.

The festival program features a blend of traditional and modern activities. It begins at 14:00 with regional culinary workshops led by MasterChef finalist Adrian Królikowski. Other scheduled activities include boxing demonstrations by the Street Autonomy Sanok Boxing Club, Zumba sessions with Paweł Kuliga, and performances by the Sanok Youth Brass Band AVANTI.

Musical performances will include Karolina Kot, the vocal studio of Aleksandra Prajsnar, the band WADADA, and the group TURNIOKI, which combines highlander music with modern sounds. The event also offers free attractions for children, such as inflatable play areas, animations, and an alpaca enclosure. Admission to the festival is free.
