Podlaskie regional leaders hold rural development forum in Ciechanowiec

Local leaders, including village heads, members of rural women's circles, volunteer firefighters, and NGO activists, gathered in Ciechanowiec for the Forum of Leaders of Change in Rural Areas. The event aimed to facilitate direct dialogue between residents and regional government officials regarding the development of their municipalities.

Representatives from the Podlaskie Voivodeship government, including board member Bogdan Dyjuk, Jerzy Leszczyński, and Andrzej Pleszuk, participated in the discussions. The forum is part of a series of subregional meetings designed to bring administration closer to citizens, allowing for more personal interaction than large-scale meetings in the provincial capital, Białystok.

Proposals raised during the forum are intended to inform the updated Podlaskie Voivodeship Development Strategy through 2030 and assist in preparations for the 2028–2034 European funds perspective.
