Podlaskie students receive grants for scientific research projects

Fifteen student research teams from the Podlaskie Voivodeship have been awarded grants to pursue diverse scientific projects through the ‘Naukolatek - Nastoletni Naukowiec’ competition. The selected projects, originating from 10 schools in Białystok and Łomża, include developments in rocket engines, autonomous agricultural robots (AgriBot), drone mapping, and studies on teenage resilience to disinformation.

Each student team is eligible for up to 8,000 PLN, while project supervisors can receive up to 2,000 PLN. The initiative is supported by the Białystok University of Technology as part of the second edition of the Via CARPATIA Polytechnic Network. The research and experimentation phase is scheduled to continue until December 1, 2026, with students receiving expert mentorship from university professionals.
