Požega City Theatre wins dual awards at international festival in Trieste

The Požega City Theatre achieved significant international recognition at the fifth edition of the Da Da Dù International Festival in Trieste, Italy. The theatre's production for children and youth, ‘Trio Rio’, received two major honors: the Audience Award for best production and the Jury Award.

The festival featured seven productions from four European countries: Italy, France, Croatia, and Spain. The Audience Award is noted for its significance, as ‘Trio Rio’ received the highest rating from spectators among the performances presented up to that point in the festival.

Following its success in Trieste, the production is scheduled to open the Limenka Teatar Fest in Požarevac on September 9, before returning to its home venue at the Požega City Theatre on September 19.
