Požega wins veteran sports competition in Požega-Slavonia County

The Association of Croatian Military Veterans of the Homeland War (HVIDR) Požega organized the 30th SNIDOR, a sports competition for disabled veterans in the Požega-Slavonia County. Approximately 80 participants gathered at the Sports and Recreation Center in Požega to compete in various disciplines.

The Požega team emerged as the overall winner, followed by teams from Pakrac and Lipik. Individual winners included Damir Grgurić in table tennis, Željko Peternel in shooting, Milan Ružojčić in sport fishing, and Augustin Baltić in chess. Other winners competed in bocce, electric darts, bowling, and hanging ball.

Following the competition, the HVIDR Association held an assembly to discuss the year's activities and plan for the upcoming year. Top performers will represent the city and county at the National Competition in Mali Lošinj this October.
