Poetry recitation competitions held for students in Poniatowa and Tarnobrzeg

Various poetry recitation competitions are being organized for students in Poland.

In Poniatowa, the 30th Autumn Recitation Competition held its municipal stage under the theme ‘Magic Enchanted in Words’. Participants were evaluated on text selection, interpretation, and artistic expression. Five students received nominations for the county stage, which is organized by the Opolskie Centrum Kultury in Opole Lubelskie.

In Tarnobrzeg, the Public Catholic Primary School is organizing the second edition of the ‘Cor ad cor loquitur’ municipal recitation competition. Focused on religious and patriotic poetry in honor of Saint John Paul II, the event invites students from grades IV–VII to participate on November 5, 2026. The competition aims to develop religious and patriotic sensitivity, improve diction, and foster Christian values through literature.
