Poio experiences power outages in A Caeira and A Valiña

A recent power outage in the Poio area of Spain left homes and businesses in A Caeira and A Valiña without electricity for approximately one hour during lunchtime. The interruption caused difficulties for residents accessing electric garage doors, using appliances, and making card payments at local businesses.

The BNG political group in Poio has raised concerns regarding these recurring outages, which they claim have been happening for months. Local representatives have requested clarification on the cause of the interruptions and whether they are linked to ongoing roadworks on the PO-308, which involve electrical channeling. Local government officials noted that such outages have occurred for ten years and stated that solutions are being sought.
