The new Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution – Pitch Black set, themed around Mega Darkrai, launches on July 17 and contains about 118 cards, including six new Mega ex cards such as Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, Mega Excadrill ex, Mega Delphox ex and Mega Slowbro ex.

A reviewer opened 55 packs from the product line‑up (Build & Battle decks, Elite Trainer Box, booster displays and bundles) and calculated approximate pull rates. Ex‑card odds were roughly 1 in 4, while full‑art ex cards appeared about 5 % of the time (≈1 in 20). No Secret‑Illustrated Rares (SIRs) were pulled; only a single full‑art card was seen. The reviewer noted a good spread of the new Mega ex cards, with some repeats of common rares and ultra rares, and praised the cardstock quality and illustration work.
