Pokémon 2026 World Championships to feature exclusive merchandise in San Francisco

The 2026 Pokémon World Championships and the inaugural PokémonXP fan convention are scheduled to take place in San Francisco, California, from August 28 to August 30. To mark the occasion and the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, The Pokémon Company will launch several exclusive merchandise collections through a pop-up Pokémon Center.

One of the primary highlights is a unique Pikachu plush produced by Steiff, the manufacturer known for the Teddy Bear. This edition is notable for being the first accessorized version of the character produced by the company. Due to high demand, Cindy Ruppenthal, Senior Director of Pokémon Center and e-commerce, stated that fans may need to use a voucher system via store reservations to enter a selection process for certain highly sought-after items.

The merchandise release will consist of three distinct lines: the PokémonXP Line, the 2026 Pokémon World Championships Line, and a San Francisco-themed Line.
