Pokémon and NOT A HOTEL announce giant Poké Ball accommodation

The Pokémon Company and NOT A HOTEL have announced a collaboration to create a real-life, human-sized Poké Ball accommodation located in Hokkaido. This project, titled ‘A Poké Ball You Can Stay In’, is directly linked to Pokémon Sleep, an application designed to track and analyze sleep patterns.

Rather than a standard themed room within a building, the project features a spherical structure placed within a natural landscape. The experience aims to bridge the gap between the digital sleep-tracking mechanics of the game and a physical environment.

According to the announcement, the stay will not be available for general commercial booking. Instead, NOT A HOTEL plans to manage the experience through a giveaway campaign for winners, focusing on brand engagement and creating highly shareable visual content.
