Pokémon anime announces legendary Pokémon appearances and Pokémon GO collaboration

The Pokémon anime is featuring significant new developments, including the appearance of legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon. In a recent episode set in the Paldea region, characters Liko and Roy encounter these legendary beings during a traditional Cyclizar race, leading to an unexpected participation in the event.

Additionally, a collaboration between the Pokémon animated series and the mobile game Pokémon GO has been announced. On September 18, 2026, episode 150, titled “Expanding World, You and GO!”, will feature characters participating in fieldwork alongside Professor Willow. The episode will incorporate elements from the game, such as PokéStops.

To coincide with the broadcast, Pokémon GO will host a “TV Anime Collaboration” event from September 16 to September 22. During this period, players can encounter Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard wearing Friede’s goggles. The event also includes special GO Snapshot features and a promotional code to encounter a specific Charmander within the anime episode.
