Pokemon anime episodes scheduled for August broadcast in Japan

BS12 Twelvi will air the special anime "Pocket Monsters: The Origin" on August 2 at 19:00, retelling the Red and Green adventure from the original 1996 games. The program follows Red’s quest in Kanto, featuring cast members such as Junko Takeuchi (Red) and Takaya Eguchi (Green), and will be available free on channel 222.

TV Tokyo’s weekly Pokemon series announced that episode 145, airing on August 14, will introduce Mega Rayquaza in the mysterious Area Delta. The episode’s plot involves the characters being drawn into another world by the legendary Pokémon. Additionally, the official Pokemon YouTube channel will stream a selection of Wonder Voyage episodes from July 31 to August 14, offering fans a recap of the summer arc.

Both announcements highlight new content and promotional campaigns tied to the ongoing Pokemon franchise in Japan.
