Pokémon announces Halloween in-game event and McDonald's collaboration

The Pokémon franchise is launching multiple seasonal and promotional activities. In the game Pokémon Pokopia, a dedicated Halloween event will run from October 17 to November 1. During this period, players can interact with the character Pumpkaboo at the Pokémon Center to exchange special currency, known as candies, for themed items and decorations. Players can collect these candies using a mechanic involving the Pokémon Zorua.

Separately, The Pokémon Company is collaborating with McDonald's for a Happy Meal promotion featuring exclusive collectible cards. The set includes various characters such as Pikachu, Charizard, Dragonite, and Miraidon. The promotion is scheduled to launch in the United States between November 5 and December 9, with availability expected in other regions including Italy.
