Pokémon celebrates 30 years of TCG with new collections

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), The Pokémon Company and Santa Cruz are launching several commemorative collections.

Santa Cruz is releasing a collaboration featuring 30 skateboard decks, each based on a different TCG card. The decks are sold as blind items and include a limited-edition Player’s Guide booklet. The collection includes classic designs such as Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, alongside newer cards like Pikachu ex and various Eevee evolutions. The collection is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 17th through the Santa Cruz website, Zumiez, and select skate shops.

Additionally, the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion has introduced a Classic Collection. This set features 10 iconic gold-bordered reprints of cards that have historically influenced competitive play, including Sneasel, Delcatty, Uxie, and Genesect-EX. The collection aims to highlight three decades of strategic history within the franchise.
