Pokémon Champions announces 2027 Global Challenge I

The 2027 Global Challenge I for Pokémon Champions has been announced. The competitive event will follow Regulation Set M-C, which incorporates Mega Evolution mechanics, and will feature a Double Battle format.

Registration for the competition is scheduled to open on September 17 or 18, 2026, depending on the time zone, and will remain open through September 27 or 28, 2026. The actual battles are set to take place between September 24 and September 28, 2026. Participants can earn Championship Points toward an invitation to the World Championships based on their ranking.

The competition is divided into three age categories: the Junior Division (born in 2015 or later), the Senior Division (born between 2011 and 2014), and the Masters Division (born in 2010 or earlier). Players who complete at least three battles will receive an Archaludon as a participation reward.
