Pokémon GO and ANA launch airport collaboration event

A collaboration event between Pokémon GO and All Nippon Airways (ANA) is currently underway to commemorate the launch of the ‘Pokémon Jet Red’ project. As part of this 30th-anniversary celebration, special PokéStops and Gyms have been installed at designated airports.

Players can obtain a Charmander with a special location background by winning a unique raid battle at the newly established airport Gyms. This opportunity is limited to once per day per Gym. Notably, reports indicate that remote raid passes cannot be used for these specific battles, meaning players must be physically present at the airport to participate.

At Haneda Airport, Gyms are located in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. While shiny versions of Charmander may appear, the probability is estimated at approximately 1%. The event is scheduled to run until August 31, 2027.
