Pokémon GO announces October 2026 events and Dinamax updates

Niantic has announced the October 2026 event schedule for Pokémon GO, centered around the ‘Twilight Paths’ season and Halloween celebrations. The month features a variety of special events, including the Harvest Festival from September 29 to October 5, which focuses on Applin collection and includes a Team GO Rocket takeover with Shadow Zekrom.

Key community events include a Zorua Community Day on October 10, an Autumn Marathon featuring a Friends Journey from October 13 to 19, and an Egg Hatching Day on October 17. The Halloween festivities are split into two phases: the first runs from October 27 to 31, concluding with a Super Raid Day, while the second phase continues from November 1 to 5.

The Dinamax mechanic will remain a focal point in Max Battles, with a weekly rotation of Dinamax Pokémon including Sobble, Sizzlipede, Rookidee, Sneasel, and Sableye. Additionally, legendary Pokémon rotations for 5-star raids will feature Xerneas, Yveltal, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina (Origin Forme) throughout the month.
