Pokémon GO announces Twilight Trails season starting September 8

Pokémon GO will launch its new season, “Twilight Trails,” running from September 8, 2026, to December 1, 2026. The season introduces several new features and Pokémon, including species from the Paldea region such as Smoliv and Maschiff.

New Mega Evolutions, specifically Mega Charizard and Mega Houndoom, are scheduled to debut. Additionally, the season will feature new Max Battles with Dynamax Pokémon like Onix, Sneasel, and Yanma, alongside legendary Pokémon such as Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf appearing during Max Battle Days.

The season also includes the return of the “GO Pass” progression system. Players can earn rewards by completing tasks to increase their rank. A paid “GO Pass Deluxe” option is available, offering enhanced rewards such as more items and faster progression. Major milestones within the GO Pass provide bonuses like increased Candy XL rates during trades and extended Lucky Egg effects.
