Pokémon GO August 2026: New Raid Calendar and Gigadynamax Gortrom Event

In August 2026 Pokémon GO will run a packed raid schedule. Each week a different legendary boss appears in five‑star raids – Kyurem (until 4 Aug), the Seen‑Trio (5‑11 Aug), Groudon (12‑18 Aug), Lunala (19‑25 Aug), and the Regi‑Trio (26 Aug‑8 Sep). Crypto‑Giratina also shows up on all August weekends, with its shiny form debuting.

On 1 August the game launches a Dyna‑Kampftag featuring the debut of Gigadynamax Gortrom. The event runs from 14:00 to 17:00 CET and offers boosted Dyna‑particle limits, extra power sources, doubled particle gains from walking, and an increased remote‑raid limit (10 → 20). Players can also earn a ticket for a time‑limited research that rewards Dyna‑mushrooms, experience points and additional particles.
